We walked from the cruise port to this cafe. WORTH THE WALK, DID NOT DISAPPOINT! It was absolutely amazing. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the family that owns the coffee shop. They took the time to understand what we wanted to order, set us up some tables outside and brought us our pastries and coffee. Hands down the best coffee we’ve ever had! The owner explained to us his many different kinds of coffees depending on whether we wanted an espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc. If you are not a coffee drinker, Caffè Sansone is worth the walk just for the pastries themselves! They had by far the best pastries. We had a croissant, cannoli, and a sfogliatella. They also accommodated me with a fresh piece of bread and jam (because I have a dairy allergy). Also, its very inexpensive. For all 2 croissants, 2 cannoli, 1 sfogliatella, 3 latte it was only 20 Euros. 10/10, would definitely go back.
Went there twice, lovely neighborhood cafe with a host/owner that’s supremely passionate about coffee. On my first day I wanted an espresso, but the host recommended a single origin double shot - which ended up being more expensive than I expected. But the coffee was really good. Didn’t give 5 star for service because the host could be nicer/more polite about his recommendations. Single shot costs 1,50/1,80, and double shot at the bar costs 3,5. They also have great pastries. They sell fun coffee themed hats and T-shirts.
One of the few places in Naples where you can find specialty coffee. A pleasant spot full of Italian atmosphere. They have oat milk, which is important for my wife, and when I ordered a fruity and slightly acidic espresso, that’s exactly what I got. So come on, Italians — try something different for once, beyond just bitter espresso with little flavor. Try a more fruity and flavorful espresso like the guys serve here! Highly recommended.
One of the two specialty coffee shops in Naples. If you want good coffee! Good choice! Upon walking in, you would think it is a traditional coffee bar in Italy but as you look around, you start to see bags of specialty coffee, V 60s on the back shelf, and baristas who are very excited to tell you all about their beans from their own micro roaster. If you want the atmosphere of a typical Italian coffee bar but with specialty bean flavor, this is the place to go!
The waiter was super helpful and explained all of the coffees to us- the cold brew was tasty! The pastry was amazing with the coffee and the pizza was great. Also bought some coffee, the owner explained and helped with that! Can't wait to have the coffee when I get home!
Caffè Sansone is a great coffee shop of the beaten path well worth a visit! I went to the place twice for the amazing taste of the coffee alone (tried different beans) and the owner/barista Pasquale shared his vast knowledge about coffee and brewing and we also talked about the city besides other topics as well. Highly recommended!
Fantastic cafe! The coffee there was great with the people there hugely knowledgeable about different types of beans. Tasty pastries. Great vibe and everyone is super friendly. Highly recommended
I absolutely loved this café—it’s the perfect spot to get your coffee fix! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the location is super easy to walk to, which made it a convenient stop during my day in Naples. I ended up coming here twice during my stay, and both times I was greeted with the warmest welcome. The employees are incredibly kind, genuinely friendly, and make you feel right at home. The prices are also super reasonable, which is always a plus. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat—don’t miss it if you’re in town!
